I had to dedicate a separate post to this hotel, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, because (1) the other post on Abu Dhabi and Kelly was getting too long and (2) I loved everything about it. Even though it was not one of the international hotel chains we regularly stay at, it definitely lived up to my expectations of what I read about Middle Eastern hotels and was way better than some of the international hotel brands in my humble opinion. Etihad Towers comprises 5 towers, 3 residential, 1 commercial and the Jumeirah. Here is a picture of the hotel in the day from Emirates Palace, it is the third building from the right, the tallest building in the picture below.
After a 7 hour flight, it was almost 12am when we got to the hotel. Part of the lobby was fenced up to clean the chandelier feature in the middle of the lobby but the rest of the lobby was still grand and beautiful.
The size of the standard room was large.
So was the bathroom!
There is a shower area which I neglected to take a picture of. Here are some pictures of the view from the bathroom in the day.
Besides a great view, it was also great to wake up to a wonderful buffet spread with comfortable seating areas.
The breakfast area also overlooks the pool.
There are 2 pools.
And a private beach with clear blue water.
I don’t usually like the heat but I couldn’t resist sitting under one of those shades and getting myself a tan.
I had so much fun and I would definitely stay at the Jumeirah again the next time I am in Abu Dhabi. Hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. Thank you for reading!
